 AMERICA IN SORROW
A day
of tears and sorrow,
A day of disbelief,
A time of
shock and suffering,
A day of endless grief.
A country
joined together,
By a common cause,
Slowed only by a
prayer,
As we briefly pause.
Americans joined together,
To face this dastardly act;
A country proud,
and
never known To ever turn it’s back.
God bless our great
country,
And in our time of need;
With your blessings
on us,
We know that you will lead.
We know that with
your blessing,
And time, that we will heal;
We look
for comfort with your help,
To ease a pain that’s
real.
