Wrong Side Of The Bed

Some days are diamonds,
And some days are pearls,
Some days are just nutty,
Only fitting for squirrels.

But it would be really nice,
To have good days aplenty,
To have more jeweled ones,
And the nutty ones, not any.

I wonder if it is really because,
Yesterday I moved my bed,
What once was the foot, now has become,
The place where I lay my head.

Which means that each morning,
Even though I have tried,
When Iím getting up
Itís on the wrong side.

So I can vouch for,
And tell you itís true,
Getting up on the wrong side,
Makes a grump out of you.
