Until The Feelings
Are Gone
Even though
we’re not together
And its been a very long time,
I think of dinners
in candlelight,
With red roses and the taste of
wine.
I remember each
night spent together,
And a burning logs soft glow.
I still feel
your arms that held me close,
When we shared each others
soul.
In a crowd I hear a voice and laugh,
And
think that it is you,
My searching eyes scan every face,
Then I find
that it’s not true.
Hot tears still flood and sting my eyes,
Each
time I hear our song,
And I wonder if it takes forever,
Until the
