Mother Nature’s Teardrops

What actually are raindrops

Falling down from stormy skies?

They’re Mother Nature’s teardrops,

Just spilling from her eyes.

To make her feel much better,

To erase all of her hurt,

And to cleanse the trees and flowers,

Wash away the dust and dirt.

To show us her joy later,

When her tears make all things grow,

As they give away to sunshine,

And soft, gentle winds that blow.

So next time when it’s raining,

Don’t become depressed nor sigh,

‘Cause you know that Mother Nature,
Is just having a good cry.
