While you are
sleeping soundly,
I tiptoe through
your mind...
Checking out
each corner,
To see what
I might find.
I try so very
hard it seems,
So that you're
not disturbed...
Being careful
not to say,
Nor utter single
word.
I see the smile
upon your face,
And wonder
at its source...
But still I dare
not wake you,
Continue on my
course.
Despite the
searching that I do,
Your dreams
remain elusive...
So that
conclusions I might draw,
Continue
inconclusive.
Still I
suspect that there is one,
Who dominates
your dreams...
And that your
smile is in response,
To love and
magic scenes.
Enjoy my dear,
those pleasant dreams,
Much better than
nightmare...
That leaves you
trembling, frightened to,
From demons and
their stare.
