I'd love to wake each
morning,
With warm
body next to me,
Instead of
untouched pillow there...
The empty space
I see.
I wish that I
could wake up,
To soulful eyes
that stare,
And feel my
heart beat quicken...
At his
tugging of my hair.
Share the joy of
much affection,
As my arms reach
to pull close,
The one who
shares my bed at night...
And whom I love
the most.
But that won't
likely happen,
I'll miss the
love and tease,
For I found out,
just yesterday...
My dog has lots
of fleas!
