The highest
mountain that man ever climbs,
Is the one given
him at his birth...
Forever a
challenge for all of his years,
A mixture of
tears and of mirth.
Each new test he faces
is part of the plan,
Those will
show what he is made of...
There are good
times and sad ones, and some
in between,
A mixture of
hurt and of love.
It's the top of
the mountain, still out of reach,
That beckons and
urges him on...
No slowing
from stumbles and bruises he feels,
No
stopping with things that go
wrong.
For years he
must struggle, continue ahead,
Those pass all
too quickly we know...
Yet with
summit before him, he presses on,
For a look at
what lies down below.
The view from
the top is breathtaking,
The descent will
be easier still...
For he climbed
to the top of his mountain,
And not just
another small hill.
