Remember all those years ago?

When we walked holding hands?

The solemn promise that we made,

And sealed with golden bands?

Remember when all of our friends,

Proclaimed we were a pair?

And when we thought that life would not,

Include a single care?

Well that was many years ago,

And we have had to weather,

Many storms throughout the years,

Yet still we are together.

Now when I look into your face,

It still looks just the same,

The years have only mellowed you,

With age, the perfect frame.

I wouldn’t change a single thing,

Exchange for even riches,

For love has been the fabric,

While we have been the stitches.
