Easter
Easter is
commercialized,
With pomp and
circumstance,
Bright new outfits that we
wear,
Bring smile
at Envy's glance.
Diverted now is
meaning,
From what is Easter
morn....
We reflect not on what took
place,
And how Christ was
reborn.
We need to move past earthly
things,
Rethink on life and
view,
Strive to live as Christ
once taught,
In all we think and
do.
Move beyond the strife and
hate,
The prejudices around
us,
Know that if we have
been saved,
Christ will then surround
us.
And every year at Easter
time,
We'll celebrate
rebirth,
Renew to help, through our
belief,
And bring back Peace to
earth.
